Claggett/Rey Gallery will be hosting a major exhibition of works by Joe Beeler titled “JOE BEELER’S WEST” from July 1st- 21st, 2021.  The show will feature over 60 works of art including paintings, drawings and sculptures spanning Beeler’s artistic career.  For over 30 years, the gallery has been the leading force in the world of Joe Beeler’s art. selling about 80% of everything Joe created during the prime of his career, and they continue to beat the drum for Joe to this day.

Claggett/Rey Gallery has been cultivating the concept for this retrospective since 2019, building a broad spectrum of work to accurately encompass the breadth of Beeler’s talent.  As quoted by Joe’s biographer and life-long friend Don Hedgpeth “The dust rises over history’s horizon and a cowboy comes riding on a barely broken bronc, eager in the anticipation of adventure, following a herd of long-horned cattle bound for Montana. Prairie grass is once again belly high to horses and the rivers yet run clear and clean.  The great western wilderness spreads out in every direction and into the shadow of mountains, awaiting bold darers and dreamers.  Joe Beeler’s art has resurrected and redeemed the West that once was.”  Join them for a celebration of this icon of 20th century western art.
